Changes have been made to how being demoted for attendance reasons works. Also some clarification on Wait Listing has been made, as outlined below:
--Cycles are now a calendar month. (1st to the 1st.) That means for the first one there will be some overlap with the previous cycle, but whatever. It just makes sense to do it this way.
--If you fail to make attendance you will now be demoted to Recruit (not Member) and be given a two-week period in which to raid 66%+ of raids. If you don't make the raids in this recruit period, you will be demoted to member. If you do, you'll be put back at Raider. The normal restrictions to Recruit rank are in affect for these players.
--Temporary Leaves of Absence have been clarified. Use it only if your TLoA won't affect you for more than one cycle. If you know you will not make attendance minimums for more than a month, we ask to just request a demotion to member and re-apply when you return. This will make it easier to recruit what we need and not be over full (or short) on people.
--If you're on the wait list we clarified that you have 5 minutes from when we first try to contact you to when you are in the raid killing crap. This really already existed we just wanted to put a number on it.
--We've been doing WL Audits for a while now, and decided it's time to make this information public. Towards the end of some raids (approximately whenever we feel like it,) we'll check to see if people on the wait list are actually contactable. This is meant to combat people that wl and go to bed while forgetting to remove themselves from the wait list, therefore getting free points. Yes it happens, and yes we have removed many wl points because of it.
Obviously we are still pretty flexible on things so if you have any questions or concerns regarding your special case (especially in regards to the TLOA thing,) feel free to ask an officer ingame or here any questions you may have. Thanks!
